Your favorite spot is only a few steps away with this hand-made, layered paper, topographic map.

This intricate paper-cut map is custom-designed around the location you choose. It features both land and water details, and makes a unique addition to any home. Choose your vacation home, the location of your wedding, your favorite picnic spot... Your imagination is the only limit.

Once you’ve chosen the location, we’ll start creating your map. We research the requested area and then use high-quality card stock to recreate the map in intricate layers. We can even mark a specific location on the map to highlight the place or event.

After you place the order, send a message with details about your request. Here’s the info I’ll need to start on your order:

1. The location you want featured. A link to the map or coordinates is especially helpful. If there are specific things you want included or excluded, please specify (nearby smaller landmarks, a specific section of the landscape, etc).
2. A specific location you would like highlighted on the map. This is optional, but many people include GPS coordinates for their home, camp, or the event that took place. If you don’t already have the coordinates, but would like them included, I only need an address or screenshot of the location to get them for you.
3. How you want the highlighted location marked. You don’t have to mark it with anything, but many people choose to do this. We have seen all sorts of markers, from a traditional dot, house, or heart, to a fish, a boat, and more.
6. The way you want the name and coordinates displayed on the map. By default, we use the layout below, so let us know if you want something different. You can also specify the name you want (White Mountains vs. White Mountain National Forest).
